About The Event
Oil Painting: Alla Prima
Learn the art of oil alla prima and finish a small painting in one session. Alla prima means painting directly and finishing your painting in one sitting. Artists in the class will work from an elegant still life filled with various fruits, vegetables and horticultural subjects. We will focus on form, value, simplifying shapes and color mixing with a limited palette. The result is a fresh, vibrant look filled with light and energy.
