MISSING THE TREES FOR THE FOREST

Whittemore - Community, Conservation & Culture presents, “Missing the Trees for the Forest” reverses the old injunction to not miss the big picture by focusing on the details. Through a collection of curated works by 5 artists, it is an appeal to attend to the small things that we can notice, care for and work to change in our fractured world. The trees in this show are both literal and metaphorical. The works reference the connections and interactions between individual trees and their forest community... a vibrant relationship between the parts and the whole.
