Here's a little about the chef:

Chef Mercado started combining beats and eats in 2015 when he would serve up both his passions for dj-ing and cooking. When you're an artist, your creativity doesn't sleep, so you're often cooking up new ideas. And when your artiste expression leads you to the kitchen, you're cooking up amazing dishes too! A self-taught chef who was inspired by his grandparents cooking on a tiny mountain farm, he created Underground Kitchen by A-Game, a full catering service hosting pop-ups in CT and NY. He was on Food Network, started FED Hospitality Group, and opened Asado Taco and Yard Tacos in NJ.

While he is known for his pop-up dinners with their unique locations and secret destinations, he is next-level with his mesmerizing wood-fired Asado! From a young age, his passion for camping and the exhilaration of pig roasts ignited a fiery culinary spirit within him. He has mastered the art of the asado - a time-honored method of grilling meat and vegetables on an open fire.

With every crackling flame and earthy waft of smoke, his outdoor wood-fired feasts effortlessly connect diners to the land, invoking a sense of rustic charm and culinary bliss. He enjoys the primitive way of cooking while adding worldly flair. I had the pleasure of enjoying Chef Mercado's asado, and it was an unmatched and unforgettable farm to table experience! New Asado dates will be released to the public soon and will be sponsored by Axe and Kindle, as Chef Mercado is now their nationwide ambassador.
